We are not an expert in all the programs being offered but we have learned a lot from thousands of our students who have been in other programs and told us why they chose ours and what felt missing in the programs they took before us. Plus we have learned and heard a lot from our clients who have often come to us after they've stopped coaching with other coaches.
#1 We often hear that many coaches are being taught to just ask questions, be silent listeners and that your client contains all the wisdom and information they need so, it's unethical to provide your knowledge or advice. Our clients would tolerate that for only a few sessions and we believe this is why the average client engagement for most coaches is 5 months according to studies. A great coach doesn't just ask questions and listen to what the client already knows. A great coach does both inquiry to really map and understand their client and the details of the situation but is also adding advice, models, understandings, perspectives, solutions, step by step processes, skills, etc. Our program doesn't just teach you to ask great questions but teaches you 24 non-overlapping models and frameworks that are designed to help your clients understand their situation in several different dimensions. We look both at the individual and the collective and at their interior and the exterior and from that we teach coaching models in these 4 quadrants:
1 - Individual Exterior = Workable Actions, An MBA in a weekend designed to help you assess the model for success and the sequence for success to help your client to reflect on what the right actions in the right order are for their particular situation. You'll game a lot of domain expertise in business and strategy.
2 - Individual Interior = Internal Experience. Here we teach you various sophisticated models that help you deeply track and understand your clients ego structure and help map and rewrite limiting beliefs and do identity level change work so that they not only listen to your advice but are setup to actually put it into practice. This gets into some of the artistry of coaching as you will learn how to align the other than conscious parts of them, that they might not be aware of that might be creating friction or resistance inside them.
3 - Collective Exterior = Systems and Scale. Here we teach you what it takes to assess and create rapidly scale. Bryan Franklin has helped 12 companies go from startup to over a billion dollars in valuation or revenue. We will look at 4 key areas and various aspects of organizations that need to be developed in order to automate, delegate and scale a company and how to create predictable, repeatable, and replenishable marketing, sales, and fulfillment. There are various aspects of strategic thinking that will be taught so that you can support your clients through the process of rapid growth.
4 - Collective Interior = Culture & Leadership. Here we teach you various unique models for helping your clients develop more interpersonal effectiveness as we teach you how to look at the relational dynamics that are happening and how people are predictably polarizing those around them into cycles that are creating resistance amongst the team. We'll teach models for how to be an effective leader, manager, and collaborator that can lead, serve and inspire everyone.
#2 We often hear from our clients that they were with other coaches who were just idea machines and didn't have the psychological sophistication to listen and fully understand them OR they were taught a cookie cutter assessment and method that they tried to apply to their situation that didn't feel like it really fit their situation.
Our Lifetime Trusted Advisor program focuses not on 1 method or an assessment but we teach you many models and frameworks that can help you understand any situation and add dimensions of awareness plus we teach you not just our maps but how to be a map maker that can in real time develop new understandings and models for your clients that fit their situation. It's not just about giving advice, our focus on teaching you how to do the kind of real world tracking and understanding that has your client deeply trust you, add credibility to anything you might share, and provide a context for the kind of conversations that will upgrade their internal experience and the actions they decide to take.
#3 Some coaches are one trick ponies and are taught one method that they decide can fix every problem.
There are many programs out there that teach a particular process or method. After a while these coaches become fairly predictable and after a while the client doesn't need the coach as they already know what they are going to say, so they've out grown their coach in some senses. Every process or method has strengths and has limitations and it's important not to think that one method is the universal solution to every problem. This is why we teach you many non-overlapping and sometimes contradictory models and ways of understanding your clients situations so that you are completely unpredictable. With the content and teachings you'll learn in LTV you could have over a thousand sessions without repeating yourself as you combine what we teach in a myriad of ways. This is part of why our clients tend to stay with us for years and years and consider us Lifetime Trusted Advisors and not just a spot coach on a particular challenge.
#4 Other programs are trying to teach coaches how to be digital/internet marketers as a way to build their practices.
They are focused on techniques to get clients that involve things like becoming a content creator, a thought leader, doing a lot of social media or videos, starting a podcast, doing a lot of cold outreach to people you don't know, sending mass emails that aren't personalized to the person on the receiving end…we have talked to thousands of these coaches over the years and only a small percentage of them has had those methods really pay off and the ones that have are doing things that they admit are incredibly time consuming or costly. Coaches need to be good at relationship marketing, not internet marketing. We teach 12 strategies to build a thriving practice and mastermind together to make sure whatever you want to be happening in your practice is what's happening. We do this through relationship marketing and building a network of powerful supporters where you are developing deeper relationships with the people you know and how to show up to those you don't in ways that engender more credibility and trust. So our program half about teaching you to build your practice and the other half about how to master your coaching and keep those clients. One part mastermind to help you thrive and one part mastering the craft of how to coach.
#5 Other programs often have you working with either a teacher, alumni, or academic who is not at the top of their field. This program isn’t taught by academics teaching theory like many MBA or Psychology programs. It’s taught by coaches who are in the top 1% of their industry who have done over 30,000 paid sessions and coached elite clients in dozens of different industries and countries around the world. We have a very large body of original work and models which form the bulk of what we are teaching based on what we actually use with our clients. Much of it is formed in real time as we are modeling for our clients what we recognize works from having sat in thousands of meetings in dozens of industries and watching the movie of successes and failures. We are model creators and map makers AND we also incorporate the best of things like Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), the human potential movement, parts work, family systems, attachment theory, polarity work, collaborative systems, evolutionary psychology, leadership practices, organizational systems, milton model, meta model, hypnosis, systems thinking, neuroscience, spiritual practices, trauma healing, spiral dynamics, integral theory, therapeutic metaphor & storytelling, stance work, NeoReichian therapy, conflict resolution work, bioenergetics, various human development theories, tribal circling technologies, mindfulness, awareness work, NVC, and sacred theater to name a few.
It’s an incredibly transformational experience that includes many aspects of these bodies of work combined with a lot of our unique maps and understandings. We want to teach about 16 of the models we use DAILY with our clients plus also explore how to have you each feel like map makers and model creators of your own.”
We do not tend to use off the shelf typological systems (i.e. Myers Briggs, Kolbe, DISC, Enneagram, etc.). Many typing systems describe our identity in a fixed and one-dimensional way. It is often tempting to think of the results ias meaning something about you that is unchangeable as they tend to speak in terms of identities and archetypes that indicate aptitude and capacitie you might have or not have depending on how you scored. We believe it’s important to understand that the reality is that no one is made of stone. These typing systems are educational and entertaining but can often create an experience of reducing people to their typological profile and making assumptions about who they are and are not. We find these are often more limiting than supportive.
Instead we think about observing a lot of these same patterns as relational dynamics....They are 'dynamics' which means they move and can change based on the situation, the context, the role people pickup and can just as easily put down. They are also relational and therefore influenced in predictable ways as we often tend to polarize each other in ways that form patterns that we observe again and again. The more we are for instance in a pattern of superiority and complaint, the more the person we are relating with while in that pattern is predictably polarized to defend. The more we are in a pattern of rigidity and control, the more we predictable tend to respond with compromise and collapse. These patterns tend to reveal themselves, regardless of which typology you might have as they arise as a dynamic that is generated between two people versus a static identity that is constant or unmovable.
We have noticed after observing people in tens of thousands of coaching sessions that there are 8 common patterns people tend to go into when they are challenged and each of these patterns has a reciprocal polarity that tends to be the counterpart. We've developed an incredibly unique relationship dynamics profile that you will get exposed to during the program along with way to use this in a leadership and business context.
What Is The Expected Time Commitment?
We are looking for participants that are committed to getting what they need from the program and everything offered. We have created a structure that offers unprecedented access to highly sought after coaches throughout the 6 months of the program. That being said this program is full of a lot of highly experienced and busy peers so we’ve designed ways that you can modulate the time you spend based on a combination of your availability, needs, and desires. We see several levels of participation common in this program starting from a lower number of hours of participation all the way through full participation. The choice is always yours and our recommendation is that if you are stuck or not quite at your targets, you increase your participation in alignment with what best supports the outcomes you will share with us and your coaching boards at the beginning of the program.
Levels Of Participation
Level 1 - You decide to participate in the monthly LTV events either via livestream from your home on Saturday and Sunday or by coming LIVE to one or more of the three 4-day retreats. We give everyone access to the recordings and offer makeup sessions that are condensed to 4 hours for anyone who misses any of our retreat weekends as we that some people have time conflicts with one or two of our monthly events. You might be the type that just wants to learn from being online and in person and not have time to focus outside of those events.
Level 2 - You participate in the 6 monthly LTV events plus you come to an additional monthly mastermind 90 minute calls with Bryan & Jennifer where you can bring any question, challenge, or topic for us all to deep dive into together and discuss. You may not make all the weekly calls but you come to at least one. We recommend spending 1-2hrs watching the preparatory materials (handouts and videos) preceding each weekend event.
Level 3 - You participate in the 6 monthly LTV events plus at least 1xweekly 90min call and you meet with your coaching board once during the month in order to get some accountability, practice, and to have a sounding board on any aspects of your strategy with your coaching practice or with your clients.
Level 4 - You participate in the 6 monthly LTV events plus most of the weekly calls and meet with your board regularly experiencing a consistent heartbeat of support through all 3 formats...retreats, board calls, weekly mastermind calls.
Level 5 - You participate in the 6 monthly LTV events plus most of the weekly calls and meet with your board regularly and also contribute to the online community both by reading the relevent posts and the thought provoking responses plus are inclined to give back to the community by starting threads and responding to posts with your insights as a major contributor. If you sense someone in the cohort is challenged and you notice you have some wisdom for them, you reach out personally and offer some time to chat with them about it creating a field of generosity and reciprocity.
So the total time can vary between Monthly events + 0-10 hrs/week depending on which of the levels above best serves you. This could change throughout the 6 months as you modulate based on how well you are integrating the material and how quickly you are achieving the outcomes you set out to achieve.
What we recommend is that if your practice is not full that you time block any hours you would be willing to work with clients and make sure you are spending that time either doing client aquisition activities (like the ones you’ll learn in the program) or improving your mastery of coaching. For example if you want 15 clients and only have 8 clients that leaves 8x90minute time blocks either each week or every other week that you might want to dedicate to getting and keeping your clients based on what you are learning in the program.
One of the commitments we believe is critical for any coach, leader, or change-maker to make is one of Lifetime Learning. In order for you to be the kind of coach that becomes a lifetime trusted advisor to your clients you need to be continually growing at or beyond the pace of your clients. Otherwise over the years they will outgrow you as a coach. SO we are big believers in being dedicated to mastering your craft and becoming a world class coach. According to various studies over the last several years, the demand for the middle/lower tier of coaches is slightly diminishing while the demand for the top 1% of coaches is rapidly rising. We created the Lifetime Trusted Advisor program as one of the most advanced trainings available for the types of coaches who are excited to become world class.
It’s our perspective that many of the existing certification programs for coaches are insufficient to prepare coaches to work with high performance clients and we end up with an industry that is full of people that are painfully under qualified and are learning some very common mistakes that has many in the industry struggling both with their income, their business model, and with getting and keeping their clients.
We have been coaching since nearly before there was any kind of certification style programs and in our decades of experience not a single client has asked us for our certifications. The exploratory call they do with us gives them a real time, felt sense of the credibility, depth, and insight available as we are demonstrating it from moment one of every interaction and both the referrals and word of mouth that had them find us and their own experience of what it’s like for a coach to not just understand their situation but open whole new dimensions of understanding tends to be what most of the higher performance or elite clients that we work with are looking for.
In some cases the various certifications can become a deterrent if they believe you are another coach like the one they decided not to work with anymore as they might believe they can already predict how the coaching engagement will go.
We know that the clients you end up working with aren’t wanting your certifications but are experiencing the deep value in their lives of working SPECIFICALLY and UNIQUELY with you. So we aren’t suggesting that any certification is offering the kind of credibility that is more often won or lost relationally each time you interact.
What we believe does add weight is when we all credit our teachers and predecessors and realize that ALL of us are standing on the shoulders of giants - all the thinking and cultural evolution and understandings that came before us and it’s a sign of deep respect when we footnote them throughout our coaching. We love crediting those that have really impacted us and do it often and frequently.
Absolutely. We’ve doubled the amount of time dedicated to Demos and Practice to ensure you get plenty of hands-on experience. Additionally, the program includes 1-2 practice calls each month and a reverse-classroom setup, where you’ll have access to recorded training videos in advance. This allows us to focus our live sessions on discussions, Q&A, application, and practice. You’ll gain a comprehensive set of models, frameworks, and tools to coach at an elite level.
Many of our participants come back and do our program again and again in part because of their desire to continue in their mastery of what they've learned and in part because we continually evolve the program year after year in profound ways to continue to expand and improve upon what we do each year.

Curation: Even more curation of our membership. Everyone joining us this year is a seasoned coach, most have 6 & 7 figure practices, many have been former operators in the Csuite as founders of their own organizations. Here are some of the bios of our current LTV 2025 cohort.
More Focus on Building Your Practice: Last year our focus was primarily on teaching you how to master the craft of coaching and keep your clients through learning 24 non-overlapping and advanced models and frameworks for coaching. This year half of the program is focused on building your practice and going upmarket while the other half remains focused on how to master your craft and keep your clients. We realized we wanted to go even further in helping make sure people had thriving practices and a positive ROI on their participation. You still have to do the work but we will be doing a masterclass each month on how to build your practice that is available as part of your Trusted Advisor Network membership plus spending days masterminding each month on building your practice with more time each weekend to have quick wins and meet your goals, plus giving you access to our new LTV Cockpit software that will help you track and stay accountable to your goals.
Extended 4.5 Day Retreats: Last year our retreats were Friday night to Sunday night. This year we've expanded our live retreat weekends to include a Thursday night welcome dinner and session, a full day of masterminding on Friday, plus a half day Monday to co-work and implement what you learned. During these retreats we’ll play the kind of games that will support anyone who has any particular goals to make sure that they are happening during the weekend and anyone who wants to get clients will get at least 1 client each retreat.
More Practice Sessions: In addition to the practice we do during each monthly event we’ll do at least 1 additional Practice Session each month where you’ll get to work with your peers to master some of the coaching frameworks, processes, and models you are learning. In addition we'll be spending more time during the weekends doing practice.
Reverse Classroom: We will be providing a large library of videos and handouts prior to each weekend that give you access to the content so that you’ll have time to familiarize your self with what we’ll be teaching prior to each weekend in a format that will make it easy to review and prepare. This will allow us to spend more time on interactive discussiojns, Q&A, demos, masterminding, and practice when we are together each month.
Yes there are various quick wins that you can put in place each month during our live events. No one can do it for you but there are many structures in place that can set you up for a lot of progress throughout your time in the program.We will be masterminding and playing the kind of games that will have several people in the room be selected as the subjects who will have a 'CEO for the weekend' who will help look at what's most needed in your practice and a group of your peers. When playing these games over the years we've found that it completely rewrites what people think is possible in a very short period of time as we'll be reporting out from each group all that they've accomplished by the end of the weekend. Here are some examples of the kinds of things you'll work on each month during the 4 days of the weekend, you'll do things like get clients, book sales conversations, build your network, practice, script and role play your sales conversations, work out your time blocks for client acquisition, write your outreach messaging, and anything else you might want to make happen.
In addition you'll be placed in a coaching board of 5-6 of your peers who will be supporting you and who you will be supporting as well throughout the program. This board can be used to hold you accountable to your short term and long term goals and objectives in the program each time you meet. This board can be used to strategize the best ways to go about what you are wanting to make happen or can be used to practice and work on what you are learning. It's up to you and your board but they are there to help support you along your progress.

There are multiple ways to practice and apply what you’re learning:
Practice Sessions during each of the six weekends.

LTV Participants have access to our larger Trusted Advisor Network members (around 1100 members and rising) as well as access to the current participants in their cohort as you will have an opportunity to deeply bond with the others in your group especially during the live retreat weekends where you'll have time to share meals together, go hiking, work in groups masterminding and collaborating with each other, co-working on Mondays together and participating in the weekly calls as well. In addition we put you into coaching boards with 5-6 other peer participants who you are explicitly partnering and collaborating with throughout the program. Your board is there to help hold you accountable and strategize and practice with you as you are there for them. Many of the participants in our program bonded deeply given the transformational nature of this program. They have developed friendships, partnerships, collaborations, continued to coach and support one another, continued to help give each other clients in specialties that are different from their own and in general interact with one another in supportive ways both offline and online in our online community on the skool.com/ltv platform. Your membership in the Trusted Advisor Network that continues for 1 year as part of your participation in the program also gives you continued access to this community and to ongoing calls, masterclasses, and laser guided coaching and membership from Bryan and Jennifer and other top coaches and senior business leaders in the community. We're delight that these additional bonds and support happen and encourage it amongst our members.
This is not a beginner program for first time coaches who have never coached or developed the skill to help someone change and have never gotten a paying client OR have never been in a business leadership role having seat time in the kinds of situations your clients might find themselves in. We are looking for those with EITHER strong business skills OR an ability to support people to change and develop themselves.
If you have neither, this program will likely feel advanced and paced quickly for you. If you have one or the other this program will help you develop what’s missing and build on some of what you have natural competency at. We are curating for people who can take what the learn in this program and run with it making a big difference in their clients lives and those capable of easily getting a positive ROI on their investment in the program so that our focus is on helping create more mastering in the craft of coaching. If you’ve had seat time as a business leader, have had a successful practice as a therapist or have some paying coaching clients, then this program is likely right for you.
If you have never gotten a paying client and don’t have any coaching skills and have never had a leadership role in a business, then we’d recommend you join the LTV Community, checkout our LTV Coach’s Toolkit and implement some of what you see there and apply once you’ve gotten a few paying clients. Even though it’s not for beginners we wanted to make sure everyone had some of the coaching fundamentals and the basics around how to start a coaching practice which is why we created the self paced online courses (12-Module Coaching Fundamentals and 5-Module The Business of Coaching Course) for everyone who is registered to make sure those skills are covered prior to the program and during our weekly calls, as they will not be covered during our 6 weekend events.
The eligibility criteria for this program for coaches is to have 3+ paying clients, therapists must have a successful profitable practice, and business leaders must have 2+ years of senior level leadership experience and decision making. We want to make sure that everyone in this year’s program has an ability to take what they are learning from this program and easily achieve a positive ROI on their investment and can begin to apply and integrate what they are learning in the environments they are already in with their clients, in their organizations or in their practice.
If you do not meet this criteria, this is likely not the program for you as we will be focused in our weekends with upgrading your coaching skills rather than teaching the fundamentals…however we have included 2 self paced courses, the 12 Module Coaching Fundamentals Course and the 5-Module The Business of Coaching Course to help bring anyone up to speed that needs these fundamentals so that we all have a common language. You will get access to this as soon as you register. IN ADDITION, we plan to add a bunch more resources to each of those courses.

You are a highly competent leader, coach, or successful therapist with the credibility that has others naturally seek out for advise, insight and wisdom such that when people interact with you they have their minds changed. You are someone who engenders trust that you can support them and make a difference in their lives. You don’t just talk a big game, you back it up with action. You don’t need too much hand-holding to get value from the things you participate in.
CAPACITY: You have the capacity both in terms of time and capability to be able to understand and implement the more advanced material we will be teaching and are agile enough to take what you learn and apply it to what you do. We are looking for the kind of people that will learn this material and create big results for yourselves and your clients. You know how to recognize when a single idea, if paid attention to was worth more than your entire investment in the program and you have the capacity to run with that idea. The official kickoff weekend of our next program will be in February 28th - March 3rd 025 which you can participate either LIVE at our retreat location at the Ralston Mansion in Mill Valley, CA (near the SFO Airport) or via livestream on Zoom. The weekly group coaching calls with Bryan Franklin and Jennifer Russell, Co-facilitators of the program, are on alternating Monday mornings at 8:00am - 9:00am Pacific or Wednesday evenings at 5:00 - 6:00pm Pacific. These calls are a time to bring the topic, question, or challenge that you would most like support on and receive from Bryan and Jennifer and the group what you need to transform or get unstuck. We will be focusing on topics like,
Both the 12-Module Coaching Fundamentals and the 5-Module Business of Coaching courses are located in the LTV Classroom on school. Once you are registered we will open up your access to those 2 courses within 24hrs and you can begin them right away. Bryan Franklin and Jennifer Russell will host a makeup 1-2 weeks after the sessions you missed so you have time to review the recordings. This will be a shorter session and will focus on Q&A, Discussion, Application, and Exercises to help you integrate the material.
ANYONE can join the makeup session if they would like. We will schedule it and let everyone know when it is and will try keep time zones into account as we will optimize for a time when the people that missed can attend…within reason given we have people from U.S. east and west coasts, UK and Germany, India, and Australia.
In general we are wanting the limited number of VIP tickets to attend LIVE and in person at the venue for those that can attend all 3 retreats. There are a limited number of spots the venue can hold in our meeting space. It is incredibly powerful to be in a transformational environment with both Bryan and Jennifer and this cohort of leaders, coaches, and change makers. There will be an extra Friday session you can attend, plus interactivity and discussions in between sessions and during meals that you won't want to miss. It's also a very bonding experience to share space for several days at a time and over the course of our 6 months together.
However, we understand that it’s hard to get so many people’s schedules to all coincide with every weekend and so we are aware some people will need to miss. If you can come to at least 2 weekends we recommend you purchase the VIP tickets. On a case by case basis, if you can only come to 1 weekend, reach out and we will create a special link to just join us for that weekend. We'll likely pair you with someone who can attend the other weekends that you can't so that the spot in the venue is filled either way as we expect these tickets to sell out.
Lodging is sold separately. The VIP ticket includes venue daily access passes (venue requires us to pay per person to have access to the grounds) plus all meals from Friday Dinner to Monday breakfast. It does not include airfare or lodging which is sold separately. If you want to stay at the venue, there are both private (limited, first come first serve) and shared rooms for up to 35 people at the Ralston in Mill Valley at $180/night (Fri-Sun, checking out on Monday morning = $540).
If you would rather stay off-site there are 2 great hotel options for which we get a discount if you mention the Ralston Retreat. These are the Mill Valley Inn, Acqua Hotel Mill Valley (The check-out code is: RWRMV2), and Corte Madera Best Western Inn (Ask for the “Ralston White Retreat” Corporate Rate).
Yes I believe there are a few people coming from overseas, once we get closer to the event we’ll make sure you all know each other and can coordinate. The venue can not house you on Thursday (I don’t believe) as we don’t get access to it until Friday at 3pm for each of the 3 weekends. You might look at the Acqua Hotel or the Corte Madera Best Western nearby for at least that 1 night.
We realize the investment and we have trained many coaches to reach the 7-figure mark quickly. You have to do the work but if you implement some of what we have given everyone access to for free in the LTV Coach’s Toolkit by sending out the Marketing Letter and/or implement one or more of the 12 Strategies for growing a practice that we have available in the Business of Coaching bonus course, it should be fairly simple to make back the investment of the course so that your ROI is net positive so we can focus on the work of helping everyone become better coaches who can keep their clients for longer.
If your rates are way below the industry average ($1500/month) our first suggestion will likely be to raise your rates so be more industry standard and to implement our networking letter and our kickoff and on-boarding process which is usually charged at 3x the monthly rate to get a client started.
These 2 strategies can easily get you to a positive ROI in the first month or two as the program begins. In addition we have a payment plan that of 4 installments that allows you to spread things out. We also have offered to 1-2 people a plan that allows for 6 payments…inquire with us if this would make a difference and allow you to participate and we can give you a special link.
We allow for refunds up until the end of the 1st full day of the program on the kickoff in February | March 2025 by midnight. After that point if you are in, you are in for the duration. So you can get laser coaching on our weekly calls with us, access our 12-Module Coaching Fundamentals Course, and access our 5-Module The Business of Coaching course with no risk. You must tell us in writing by midnight on Saturday's retreat in March 2025 of your intent to withdraw and request a refund. Which is for the amount you’ve paid less a 5% administrative and credit card fee. There are no refunds after that date. The full amount of the program is due.
